Summary:

The present invention describes a process for cleaning fresh stains by spilling fluids, comprising applying recycled aggregates from RCDs, with a content of more than 90% mortar or concrete and a particle size of less than 0.250 mm, removing the mixture for a time between 5 seconds and 2 minutes, and collect the resulting aggregates soaked in the fluid stain. With this new application, it could be given a new commercial outlet by extending its useful life through a simple, inexpensive and sustainable process, thus contributing to the reduction of its environmental impact.

Summary:

The present invention is a process for obtaining a bituminous mixture that comprises pre coating the recycled aggregate with bituminous emulsion, leaving the pre coated recycled aggregate to rest until the emulsion breaks, and the pre coated mixture of recycled aggregate with natural aggregate , mineral powder of cement and bitumen.

The hot process comprises a combination of natural aggregate and recycled aggregate from concrete-type construction and demolition waste (CDW). The inventors found that the pre coating of the recycled aggregate with slow-breaking bitumen emulsion surprisingly promotes the subsequent adherence of the pre coated aggregate with the bitumen. In addition, it reduces the entry routes of water into the recycled aggregate as the bituminous emulsion is very fluid and, therefore, with ease to access all the pores of the recycled aggregate.
